Emily Miota is the Outreach and Communications Director of the Mayors Innovation Project. She was previously a community organizer with the Sierra Club and the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters, where she worked on several successful initiatives like cleaning up coal power plants and electing conservation champions to the State Legislature. She has also worked as an event planner for Northwestern Mutual and the State Environmental Leadership Program. She is a graduate of UW-Madison with a double major in International Studies and German.
