Ceri Jenkins (MPA, UW La Follette School; BA, Brown University) is the Co-Managing Director of the Mayors Innovation Project. She recently coordinated the Working Poor Families Project, of which COWS has been a state partner since 2005. Ceri worked with COWS several years ago on the Bright Cities initiative as well as on the Mayors Innovation Project, helping produce bi-annual meetings, and authoring papers on progressive local policies. At the UW Population Health Institute, Ceri managed the Evidence-Based Health Policy Project, connecting state legislators to high-quality, nonpartisan research on health policy topics. She also served in multiple positions for the State Department of Workforce Development and worked as a Program Officer at the Pew Charitable Trusts, facilitating grants in health, education, and environmental areas. Outside of work, Ceri is active in nonprofit boards that focus on Madison schools by building leadership, supporting communities and advocating for racial justice.
