Registration
All US mayors are invited! Other elected local government leaders and staff should confirm with their mayor’s office before registering.
MEMBER CITIES
Registration is always free for member cities. Not sure if you are a member city? Please see this list of current members. Not a member? Joining is easy and our rates are competitive. Learn more about membership here!
You do NOT need to be a member city to attend:
NON-MEMBER CITIES
Mayors: $375.00, Non-mayors: $450.00
NGO’S
Our NGO rate is $500.00. If you are with a non-governmental organization, such as a non-profit or academic institution, please contact knspear@mayorsinnovation.org for an invitation.
SPONSORS AND FOR-PROFIT BUSINESSES
The primary way we work with for-profit businesses and other mayors-serving organizations is as meeting sponsors. Interested in sponsoring? Contact knspear@mayorsinnovation.org to get started!
REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
In the event that you are unable to attend, we are able to refund registration fees for those who notify us by January 7, 2027. After this date, while we can no longer refund registration fees, we’d be happy to welcome an alternate attendee.
Travel & Logistics
Our Winter Meeting is always held in central D.C., near the White House. To ensure privacy and safety of all attendees, only approved registrants will receive the agenda with locations.
MIP has secured a room block at the Sofitel Lafayette Square for meeting attendees at a discounted rate of just $239/night. The deadline to book hotel at this rate is December 22, 2026.

The hotel is a short walk from our main meeting venue and from the US Conference of Mayors event. For those wishing to book hotel dates that would cover both USCM and MIP, please reach out to Katya Spear with your desired dates to secure this rate for an extended stay.
