
We are thrilled to host our 2026 Summer Meeting in our own backyard, the beautiful City of Madison, Wisconsin! We’re working with Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and her wonderful team to put together a dynamic agenda that incorporates insightful panels along with the best of what the City has to offer.

Registration Details
All US mayors are invited! Other elected local government leaders and staff should confirm with their mayor’s office before registering.
MEMBER CITIES
As always, registration is free for member cities – both mayors and staff/city representatives. Not sure if you are a member city? Click to see a list of current members. Not a member? Joining is easy and our rates are designed to be low barrier. Learn more about membership here!

Mayors: $375/person
Council members or city staff: $450/person
SPECIAL NEIGHBOR RATE!
Mayor Rhodes-Conway invites mayors from Wisconsin and its closest neighbors to apply a $100 discount to their registration! You are eligible for this discount if your city is located in any of the following states: IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, and WI. Please indicate this in your registration below and the discount will be automatically calculated.
NGO’S
Our NGO rate is $475.00. If you are with a non-governmental organization, such as a non-profit or academic institution, please contact knspear@mayorsinnovation.org for an invitation.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
In the event that you are unable to attend, we are able to refund registration fees for those who notify us by July 10, 2026. After this date this date, while we can no longer refund registration fees, we’d be happy to welcome an alternate attendee.
Travel & Logistics: Hotel Deadline July 1st!
Our conference hotel is the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, just steps from Lake Monona, Wisconsin State Capitol, and our conference venue, the Madison Public Library – Central. MIP has negotiated a room block at the Hilton at a rate of just $169+taxes per night. Rooms are available at this rate for 3 days prior to and after our event pending availability – if you wish to extend your stay, we highly recommend booking early. The deadline for booking at this rate is Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.

Agenda
Our Summer meeting includes a mix of policy panels, networking events, and city tours that highlight and bring to life the innovative policy and partnerships happening in Madison, WI.
DRAFT AGENDA COMING SOON.
Our agenda runs from approximately 5pm Wednesday, July 22nd (with a welcome reception) until around 2pm Friday, July 24th. We are considering how best to incorporate optional tours and excursions, and encourage you to register. For those looking to stick around and experience more of Madison, we are looking at optional post-conference events and will have additional information posted here soon about historic landmarks and exciting events that you can add to your itinerary if you’re spending more time in the area.
