From our Summer Meeting host…

“After two years apart, we’re finally getting together again for the Summer Meeting, and I’m so honored to host you.  And for those of you who know me, that means good content and lots of fun.

As mayors, we face similar challenges, and we have so much to learn from each other. The Mayors Innovation Project is a national learning network that allows us to do just that.

At the Summer Meeting, you will get the chance to connect with both peers and experts on the struggles we all face. Plus, we’ll show you up close the solutions that are working for us here, providing you with some new ideas and perspectives. In addition to great public policy, I’m also excited to show you my beautiful city. We’ll enjoy good food, nice weather, and check out some of Tacoma’s top sights together.”

– Mayor Victoria Woodards, Tacoma, WA
