Our meetings are different.

The Mayors Innovation Project is committed to creating peer-learning opportunities for mayors and their most trusted advisors. We host a variety of timely, virtual and in-person meet-ups, focused on a wide range of policy and program-related content.

Winter Policy Meetings

The Winter Policy Meetings take place in DC, offering an intense 2 days of focused policy solutions. Many attendees combine this meeting with other DC-related business.

Summer Annual Meetings

The Summer Annual Meetings are hosted by our member city mayors, offering you a chance to visit and learn from a new vibrant city each time. Our Summer Meeting host mayors always show us the best their city has to offer, but they also share how they learned from their challenges.

Thank you to all the Mayors, speakers, city staff, sponsors, and partners who joined us July 30 – August 1, 2025 for the MIP Summer Meeting in beautiful Albuquerque, NM—the first time MIP has hosted in the American Southwest! Hosted in partnership with Mayor Tim Keller, we dug into cutting edge city policy in an intimate, off the cuff setting. As always, we had a great time touring the City, sharing innovative ideas, and making new connections!
