Program Support Specialist

In collaboration with COWS, our parent organization, we’re seeking students who have an interest in public policy, local politics, sustainability, shared democracy, and equity to support our work by providing research, communications, and administrative support in a dependable, engaged manner. Must learn quickly, have some experience doing administrative work in an office environment, and be able to work independently. Duties may include policy research, data collection and entry, updating websites, posting on social media, making phone calls to event invitees, drafting mass emails, designing or editing informational and promotional materials, or other administrative tasks as assigned.

This position offers flexible hours (15-20 hours per week) performed in person at COWS offices in the UW-Madison Social Sciences building. Undergraduate student pay at COWS and the Mayors Innovation Project is $15 per hour.
